Jordan Brand returns in 2001 with the Air Jordan 3 PE worn by Michael Jordan during his first season with the Washington Wizards. Most people thought his MJ was wearing Air Jordan 3 “True Blue” Retros, but his pair were a little different.
At first glance, this sneaker looks like a True Blue colorway, but it features copper hits around the lower eyelets and a Jumpman on the tongue. An upcoming release will see OG Nike ditch the Jumpman in his air heels and see his overlay of elephant print around the toe, heel and laces. No photos of the outsole are available, but you can expect the red hits on the outsole to also be replaced with copper.
